Friday was my first experience showing some of my hand made artwork in a gallery-ish setting. I was CA-RAY-ZEE nervous before and during the entire thing, but in the end It was bodacious!

I spent a couple months on this body of work. My reason for wanting to do this in the first place was to experiment and grow as a creator. Through much lost sleep and over exerted brain power I did just that. I learned TONS, not only about methods of producing artwork, but about myself and my aesthetic. It was a fun, painful, adventurous and rewarding process, and only another one of many chapters in my lifelong pursuit of creative exploration. I know who I am. I am trying to communicate who I am through my art, my years of skateboarding, breakdancing, graffiti, music graphic design, love and romanticism, the marriage of geometric and organic, my personal human experience. I think that I accomplished a certain amount of that, I’ll be working on it till my body won’t let me anymore.
